Steven Tompkinson (BRASSED OFF, WILD AT HEART) reprises his role as the tenacious cop, DCI Alan Banks, alongside fiery cop DS Annie Cabbot, played by Andrea Lowe (ROUTE IRISH, CRACKER).

A man commits an armed robbery and is then brutally murdered. Banks is on the case but his boss, Superintendent Rydell, wants Banks to find and bring home his wayward teenage daughter, Emily. Banks’ search for Emily leads him to London where he rescues her from a violent criminal. Meanwhile Cabbot becomes convinced that the robbery was staged. On banks’ return to Leeds he is called to the scene of a brutal murder of a young woman, it’s Emily Rydell. The ongoing investigations point to a connection between each of the murders, and Banks and Cabbot come to suspect one of their team to be implicated in a criminal conspiracy.
